About OTC
On the Ceiling (OTC) is a multifaceted storytelling project by Ghanaian storyteller, Akotowaa, which breathes new life into that most beloved of Akan folklore characters, Kwaku Ananse. The spider-man trickster is so well-known among Ghanaians that he may have transitioned into the realm of cliché—or, at least, that’s what fictional Ghanaian teenager Kuukua Annan thinks, until a shocking revelation about her own family forces a change in perspective.
Support the Creator
OTC is free to consume. However, creating and distributing art costs time and money, particularly for a project such as this, which involves extensive collaboration. Your support enables Akotowaa to keep creating, and to compensate her collaborators.
